Our Vision:
A movement of New covenant Grace upon Grace
Two Rivers Church is called to live at the confluence of two rivers – the river of Grace and the river of the Grace.
“From His fullness, we have all received Grace upon Grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:16-17)
Our Mission:
Connecting people to the freedom, hope, and healing in Jesus
When we believe the truth that we are set free by the grace of God, we experience freedom, hope, and healing. The Gospel is good news. The Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy. Our mission is connecting people to all that Jesus came and died to give us. Jesus came to give us abundant life. We enjoy the abundant life and give it away!
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (II Corinthians 3:17)
Our Values:
Gospel-centered, family-oriented, mission-minded
Gospel – "Freed people free people." (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:16-17, II Corinthians 1:20-22)
The heartbeat of Two Rivers Church is the grace of Jesus. We celebrate grace and freedom! The true gospel is the good news that invites us to come as we are to receive care, compassion, mercy, and grace.
Family – "Loved people love people." (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Thessalonians 2:8, John 13:31-35)
The church is called to be a spiritual family. We believe that sustained life change takes place best in the context of intentional relationships as brothers and sisters. We understand and embrace that “life on life” shapes us, challenges us, transforms us and is God’s gift to every believer. We are compelled by love. We love because he first loved us.
Mission – "Blessed people bless people." (Luke 4:16-21, Matthew 28:19-20, II Timothy 2:2)
We are blessed. We desire to be a conduit of God's blessing to others. Our purpose is to introduce people to Jesus so that they might become followers of Jesus and join us in His mission to “set captives free.” We desire to be a people who follow Jesus’ example and don’t seek to be served, but to serve others in humility.
